Android users can ensure that they see the most up-to-date record layouts and data by clearing the cache right in the Salesforce mobile app. Previously, Android users had to go to their device settings to clear the cache.

This change applies to the Salesforce mobile app for Android in all editions and is available the week of July 20, 2020.

You no longer need to quit and reopen the app to force data to update. By following the given steps you can clear cache from the Salesforce app only.

From your Salesforce mobile app, Go to your Profile menu. Under Settings, tap Advanced, then tap Clear Cached Data.
